Cheonji Association and Korea Musical Jump Rope Association Donate Funds to Support Foster Care Children in Suwon

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Cheonji Association and the Korea Musical Jump Rope Association, social organizations in Suwon, donated 5 million won to Suwon to support foster care children.

The donation ceremony took place on the 2nd during the "9th Korea Musical Jump Rope and Taekwondo Jump Rope Championship" held at Suwon Chilbo Sports Center.

The 5 million won was collected by members of Cheonji Association and the Korea Musical Jump Rope Association through their joint efforts. The city plans to distribute the donation to foster care children in Suwon facing financial hardship through the Gyeonggi Community Chest.

The ceremony was attended by Suwon Mayor Yeom Tae-young and key officials from Cheonji Association and the Korea Musical Jump Rope Association. Mayor Yeom Tae-young said, "I sincerely thank Cheonji Association and the Korea Musical Jump Rope Association for consistently practicing love for the underprivileged," adding "The precious donation will be used for foster care children."
