Paldal-gu Women's Volunteer Organization Shares "Love Dishes"

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] On the 19th, 14 members of the Paldal-gu Women's Volunteer Organization in Suwon gathered at the conference room of Paldal-gu Office to conduct "Love Dishes Sharing."

As the year drew to a close, members visited 15 households of foster children and elderly living alone, delivering rice cakes and seaweed while checking on their well-being. They also provided guidance on social welfare programs after learning of their difficulties.

Since its establishment in May 1993, the Paldal-gu Women's Volunteer Organization has not only conducted monthly dish-sharing volunteer activities but also regularly delivers love dishes to those in need five times a week at the district office.

Hyun Young-jin, Director of the Family and Welfare Division, extended his appreciation, saying, "We are grateful to the Paldal-gu Women's Volunteer Organization for practicing meaningful love sharing. We will continue to make greater efforts to show interest in the underprivileged and practice neighborly love."
