Suwon's Gwonseon-gu Conducts Major Cleaning at Suwon Station Transfer Center Ahead of Lunar New Year

[Suwon Ilbo=Correspondent Seo Dong-young] On the 21st, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon conducted a major cleaning of Suwon Station Transfer Center and the university bus stop ahead of Lunar New Year.

The cleaning was carried out in cooperation between the District's Civil Safety Division and Seodun-dong. Approximately 40 people, including staff from the District Civil Safety Division, residents of Seodun-dong, environmental management personnel, and employees, removed cigarette butts, various waste, and chewing gum from the floor.

Regarding the bus stop floor on the second floor of the transfer center, water cleaning that was originally planned was not conducted, considering that the below-freezing weather would create icy conditions.

Kim Do-hyung, head of the District Civil Safety Division, said, "We are grateful to the residents and staff members."
