Suwon Paldal-gu Begins Assessment of Individual Land Public Notices
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Suwon's Paldal-gu will conduct assessment of individual land public notices based on January 1, 2020, for one month from the 13th of this month through the 13th of next month.
After completing land characteristics surveys covering various factors including land use conditions that play an important role in land price formation, the district plans to assess the land prices of 29,814 plots, which represent 83% of the district's total 35,714 plots. The subject plots will become objects of assessment for various taxes including national and local taxes, as well as other levies.
Land price assessment is conducted by selecting a comparative standard site (a standard site published by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport), comparing the characteristics of the comparative standard site with those of the assessment target plot, and then applying price ratios for different land characteristics.
The assessed land prices will undergo verification by certified appraisers and can be reviewed for 20 days from April 14 to May 4.
Park Se-jun, head of the General Civil Affairs Division of Paldal-gu, said, "Since individual land public notices serve as the basis for assessment of various taxes and levies and are closely related to citizens' property rights, we will do our best to ensure that they are assessed fairly and accurately."
