Paldal-gu, Suwon Conducts Site Inspection Ahead of Suwon's Three Major Festivals

Paldal-gu District in Suwon (District Chief Hwang Gyu-don) conducted a field inspection on the 30th to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for visitors coming to the district in preparation for the "2026 Suwon Three Major Festivals" and the "Suwon Visit Year."

District Chief Hwang Gyu-don and related department heads who participated in the inspection walked directly from Haenggung Plaza, a key route for King Jeongjo's royal procession, to the Jangan Gate area, checking the condition of roads and pedestrian pathways, the cleanliness of streetscapes, and the status of illegal banners and illegally placed items.

Paldal-gu stated that minor issues discovered during the inspection were immediately addressed on-site, and any items requiring further work will be completed before the festivals open.

District Chief Hwang Gyu-don said, "As many visitors are expected to come for major fall events such as the Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival and King Jeongjo's royal procession, we will make our utmost efforts to prevent safety accidents and improve streetscape conditions. Going forward, we will continue to conduct meticulous, field-focused inspections to create a clean and pleasant Paldal-gu that both residents and visitors can appreciate."
