Mayor Park Seung-won of Gwangmyeong Inspects Major Facilities on First Day of Chuseok Holiday

Mayor Park Seung-won of Gwangmyeong inspected major facilities to ensure citizens can spend a safe and comfortable Chuseok holiday.

On the morning of the 24th, Mayor Park visited the Urban Integrated Operations Center, Gwangmyeong Municipal Elderly Care Center, and Gwangmyeong Cave in sequence, inspecting operational status and safety management conditions at each facility, and encouraging workers on duty during the holiday period.

First, he visited the Urban Integrated Operations Center to inspect the monitoring situation of major facilities and the response system for the holiday period.

Mayor Park told field workers, "Thank you for maintaining your posts for the city's safety even during the Chuseok holiday," and instructed them to "ensure there are no gaps in monitoring and situation management so we can respond swiftly to any emergencies that may occur."

He then visited the Gwangmyeong Municipal Elderly Care Center to check facility operations and the care situation for elderly residents, and delivered warm holiday greetings. He also encouraged facility staff working during the holiday to care for the elderly residents.

Mayor Park instructed, "Please pay special attention to facility safety and care so that elderly residents can spend a safe and comfortable holiday."

Finally, Mayor Park visited Gwangmyeong Cave, and carefully examined visitor traffic flow and facility safety management conditions, as many residents and tourists are expected to visit during the holiday period.
