Suwon Youth Support Center Recruits Participants for 'Online Cover Letter Mentoring'
[Suwon Ilbo = Reporter Seo Dong-young] The Suwon Youth Support Center is recruiting participants for 'Online Cover Letter Mentoring' through the 11th of this month.
'Online Cover Letter Mentoring' is a program that provides free information on writing effective cover letters to 86 Suwon youth aged 19-39, including low-income youth and long-term job seekers, using remote video conferencing software (Zoom).
The program is led by Cha Yeon-hee, director of 'Public Enterprise Champion,' a professional public company job coaching center. She teaches cover letter writing methods that highlight job seekers' strengths and address their weaknesses.
Job seekers can participate in the mentoring by accessing the online link sent via text message. Sessions will be held from the 12th onwards, with each session accommodating one team (2 people) assigned by similar job fields.
Applicants can submit their applications through the Suwon Youth Support Center website (http://www.swyouth.kr) under 'Programs/Reservations' by attaching a pre-written cover letter. Selection results and mentoring schedules will be individually notified on the 12th of this month.
A city official said, "We hope this mentoring program will motivate young people about employment and serve as an opportunity to increase their chances of successful job placement."
The city was selected in February for the 'Youth Center Operation Contest' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and has been receiving project funding for youth programs. For inquiries, contact the Suwon Youth Support Center (070-4201-9976).
