Ganghwa County Delivers Ministerial Commendation for Outstanding Contributions to Fishing Village Revitalization and Innovative Growth

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Ganghwa County held a government commendation ceremony on the 12th for outstanding contributions in the field of "fishing village revitalization and innovative growth."

The recipient is Ko Hyun-soo, chairman of the Hwangsando Port Regional Council. He received a commendation from the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries in recognition of his contributions to fishing village revitalization and innovative growth through the Fishing Village New Deal 300 project.

Hwangsando Port was selected for the 2020 Fishing Village New Deal 300 public recruitment project, established a master plan early, and is currently in the detailed design phase. With superior project implementation speed compared to other cities and provinces, it has been selected as a core project site by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and is proceeding with projects at a brisk pace.
