[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] On the 24th, Jangan-gu, Suwon City, simultaneously disinfected 16 livestock farms in the district to prevent the outbreak of livestock infectious diseases.

The district mobilized quarantine vehicles to intensively disinfect the exterior of livestock facilities and access roads while conducting surveillance activities for livestock infectious diseases. The district also urged livestock farms to continuously implement measures including ▲disinfection inside and outside livestock facilities ▲blocking contact between wild animals and livestock ▲rodent control operations ▲prevention of feed spillage around livestock facilities.

An official from the district stated, "To prevent livestock infectious diseases where prior containment is extremely important, livestock farms must strengthen their own quarantine measures, and outsiders are asked to refrain from visits."
