Uiwang Mayor Kim Sung-je Attends 20th Gyeonggi Province Disabled Living Sports Association Dissolution Ceremony

On October 1, Uiwang Mayor Kim Sung-je attended the "20th Gyeonggi Province Disabled Living Sports Games Uiwang City Athletes Dissolution Ceremony" held at a local restaurant, where he encouraged the athlete delegation and officials from the Uiwang City Sports Association for the Disabled who successfully completed the competition.

On the day, Mayor Kim congratulated each athlete on their achievements and offered words of encouragement, expressing his gratitude for their efforts in preparing for the competition.

Mayor Kim Sung-je said, "I sincerely thank all the athletes who did their best from the preparation process to the end at the venue," and added, "Going forward, I will spare no support to enable disabled athletes to fully display their skills and continue new challenges through sports activities."

Meanwhile, from August 28 to 29, the 20th Gyeonggi Province Disabled Living Sports Games were held in Gapyeong. Uiwang City sent 117 athletes to participate, earning a total of 7 medals including 3 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze, demonstrating the strength of Uiwang's disabled sports.
