[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Park No-hun] "Gyeonggi Regional Currency Dating with 31 Municipalities" (Subtitle: Yaho! It's Summer!!!), a non-contact event to promote Gyeonggi Regional Currency, kicked off Season 2 on the 18th at Jeonggok Port in Hwaseong.

The Gyeonggi Disaster Basic Income Dating with 31 Municipalities is a real-time promotional program that uses a mobile studio to visit municipalities across Gyeonggi Province and promote regional currency policies.

In Season 1 from March to June this year, the event visited 18 municipalities including Suwon under the subtitle "Gyeonggi Disaster Basic Income Dating with 31 Municipalities" (Subtitle: It's Lunchtime Now), and from this date through August, Season 2 will visit the remaining 13 municipalities.

The launch of Season 2 coincided with Gyeonggi Bay Travel Week (June 14-20) and was broadcast live at noon on the Gyeonggi Province YouTube channel from Jeonggok Port in Hwaseong.

Comedian Jung Tae-ho and singer Chae-yeon appeared, visiting the Gyeonggi Bay promotion center and showcasing a clean sea yacht experience, drawing strong responses from viewers.

They enhanced understanding of Gyeonggi Regional Currency through quizzes, communicated in real-time with viewers to give surprise gifts, met with local small business owners to hear their concerns, and purchased items using Gyeonggi Regional Currency, sending messages of support and encouragement from the scene.

MC Jung Tae-ho said, "It was more meaningful to communicate with residents about Gyeonggi Regional Currency at Gyeonggi Bay," and "I hope the joy conveyed in this broadcast gives strength to small business owners going through difficult times."

In Season 2, popular entertainers will explore clean bays and clean valleys while using Gyeonggi Regional Currency and will timely promote major provincial policies including Gyeonggi Province's second consumer support fund and farmers' basic income through the Gyeonggi Province YouTube channel.

At a non-contact event to be held in Yongin on the 30th, comedians Jung Seung-hwan and Park So-ra will appear and directly use Yongin Way Pay, Gyeonggi Regional Currency, to connect with residents in a more familiar way.
