Suwon Launches Free Interview Suit Rental Program 'Cheong-nae-rae' Starting March 13

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jeong Jun-sung] Suwon City announced that it will launch the 2024 'Cheong-nae-rae program' on March 13, which provides free interview suit rentals to job-seeking young adults.

The 'Cheong-nae-rae program' is a Suwon City initiative that offers free rental of suit jackets and trousers, shirts and blouses, and ties to young people aged 19-34 (born January 1989 to December 2005) preparing for employment interviews.

Any young adult registered as a resident of Suwon City as of the application date and facing a job interview is eligible to use the service. Participants can rent up to three times per year, with each rental lasting up to four days. If the number of rentals exceeds the three-time limit or the budget runs out, users can rent at a 10% discount off the regular rental rate.

Applications can be made through the Suwon Youth Support Center website (http://www.swyouth.kr). Interview suit rental shops are located at △Suitvine (31 Gyeongsu-daero 994-gil, 2nd floor, Jangan-gu) △Void Tuxedo & Suit Rental (23 Gwangwang-ro 123-gil, Gwonseon-gu) △D'Elis (17 Jungbu-daero 170-gil, Paldal-gu) △Suit Gallery (108 Edutaun-ro, Yeongtong-gu) and three other locations.

A city official said, "This year we have added one additional rental shop in Gwonseon-gu, making it much more convenient for interview suit rental and return," and added, "We will continue to expand the Cheong-nae-rae program to help Suwon's young people prepare for employment."
