Suwon Urban Corporation Prepares Diverse Events and Sharing Activities for 'May, Family Month'
[Suwon Ilbo = Reporter Jeong Jun-seong] Suwon Urban Corporation (CEO Heo Jeong-mun) announced on the 30th that it has prepared cultural events for families to enjoy together and sharing activities for the underprivileged to mark May, Family Month.
The Family Women's Center will hold a special lecture titled ‘Contributing Through Marital Excellence’ in the center's main conference room on the 16th of next month. The lecture presents ways to build relationships among family members to create a healthy family. In addition, on the 25th, it will hold a course on ‘Walking Right and Running Safely’ for a healthy family and vibrant life at the artificial turf field of Suwon Sports Complex.
The Jangan-gu Community Center will host the ’Green Night’ event, combining classical guitar and watercolor painting, at the Nosong Gallery on the first floor on the 24th and 31st.
Sharing activities for the underprivileged and people with disabilities have also been prepared.
The Yeonhwajang Business Office will personally prepare 100 lunch boxes, funded by coin donations from Seungcheonho, and deliver them to 100 underprivileged people, including low-income households.
On the 21st, the Jangan-gu Community Center will invite about 20 people with disabilities from disability welfare facilities in the Suwon area to run ‘Heart to Heart with the Stars! Saebit Sharing,’ an experiential cooking program.
The Mobility-Impaired Support Team is accepting applications for ‘Healing Ride,’ which helps people with severe disabilities go on outdoor outings, until the 10th. A total of 3 teams (up to 3 people per team) will be recruited.
