Suwon City Offers Passport Reissuance Application Service with a Single Visit
[Suwon Ilbo = Reporter Jeong Jun-seong] Suwon Special City announced on the 20th that it is offering an online passport reissuance application service through which passports can be issued with a single visit.
After applying on the Gov24 website or the KB Star Banking app, applicants can visit the Suwon City passport service office to collect their passport. Applicants must bring their existing passport if it is still valid, and if they do not have a valid existing passport, they must bring an ID card. The applicant must collect the passport in person, and once the desired collection agency is selected, it cannot be changed.
Passport photos are required to meet the following conditions: △taken within the last 6 months △file size of 500kb or less △file format JPG/JPEG △dimensions of 413 pixels wide by 531 pixels high (recommended) △recommended resolution of 300dpi. Passport photo regulations can be confirmed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
Minors under the age of 18, first-time electronic passport applicants, applicants for official passports such as diplomats, emergency passport applicants, habitual passport losers, those under administrative sanctions, and those wishing to change their Roman alphabet name cannot apply.
Those who have not completed military service can only be issued a passport with a five-year validity period, and to be issued a passport with a ten-year validity period after submitting additional documents, they must apply in person.
