'2025 Suwon ITS Asia-Pacific General Assembly' Exhibition and Sponsorship Participation Companies Being Recruited 'On Track'

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Suwon Special City announced on the 10th that the recruitment of companies for exhibition and sponsorship participation in the '2025 Suwon ITS Asia-Pacific General Assembly' is proceeding smoothly.

In the exhibition sector, the number of inquiries from participating institutions exceeded expectations, so the exhibition scale was expanded from an initial 140 booths to 196 booths. Currently, 113 booths are confirmed in operation, including 99 domestic booths and 14 international booths, and multiple companies are negotiating booth operations.

In the sponsorship sector, 11 companies including LexGen, BitSensing, SignTelecom, and Hyundai AutoEver have participated so far, lending support to the preparation of the general assembly.

The city plans to maximize exposure of sponsor company brands during the Asia-Pacific general assembly and provide promotional opportunities.

Exhibition and sponsorship guidelines and application forms can be downloaded from the 'Exhibition' bulletin board on the official Suwon ITS Asia-Pacific General Assembly website (www.itsap2025.org). Institutions wishing to participate must apply by February 28.

A city official stated, "Many domestic and international institutions are showing interest in and supporting the 2025 Suwon ITS Asia-Pacific General Assembly," and added, "We will make our best efforts to effectively showcase the excellent technologies of our companies participating in the Asia-Pacific general assembly being held in Korea for the first time in 23 years to the entire world."

Meanwhile, the '2025 Suwon ITS Asia-Pacific General Assembly,' jointly hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Suwon City, will be held from May 28 to 30 at the Suwon Convention Center and throughout Suwon under the theme of 'Hyper-Connected Cities by ITS.'

The event will feature high-level meetings including ministers and vice-ministers, academic sessions, exhibitions and business consultation meetings, technology demonstrations and site visits, citizen participation programs, and official and social events. Approximately 10,000 participants from about 20 countries are expected to attend.
