Suwon Urban Development Corporation Establishes Communication Council with Four Suwon-Based Professional Sports Teams

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Jeong Jun-seong] Suwon Urban Development Corporation (President Heo Jeong-moon) announced on the 7th that it has established a communication council with professional sports teams based in Suwon Special City to create a healthy local community through sustainable partnership.

The four professional sports teams based in Suwon are KT Sports (KT Wiz, KT Sonic Boom), Suwon FC, Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate, and Korea Electric Power Bigstorm.

The communication council was initiated so that the corporation can work together with professional teams to respond to smooth professional sports game operations, provision of pleasant viewing environments, and government policy promotion in collaboration with the local community.

Through regular council meetings, the corporation plans to analyze and share current issues of each team and implement customized social contribution activities according to major policies. Additionally, it plans to cooperate for pleasant game operations and viewing environments, and establish a hotline for emergency situations such as safety accidents.

The corporation and professional teams launched the council and commenced official activities at the General Sports Complex on the morning of the 7th.

Those in attendance included Seok Jong-nam, director of the General Sports Complex; Cho Eun-bae, general manager of Suwon FC; Kang Shin-hyuk, marketing center director of KT Sports; Lee Nam-soon, general manager of Korea Electric Power Bigstorm; and Lee Jun-seong, general manager of Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate.

Seok Jong-nam, director of the General Sports Complex, said, "We will do our best to breathe together with the local community through close communication and cooperation with Suwon Special City's professional teams, which lead advanced sports culture."
