Suwon Civic Chorus Lawn Concert 'A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along' Held on August 28 at Suwon Outdoor Music Theater [Art S]

The Suwon Civic Chorus announced that it will hold the ‘2026 Lawn Concert - A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along’ with citizens on August 28 at Suwon Outdoor Music Theater.

This year's performance will feature an amateur citizen chorus group called ‘WeSingers’ on stage, singing in chorus with the audience. The core concept is a ‘sing-along’ that breaks down the boundary between stage and audience, with all attendees singing along together.

The concert, conducted by artistic director Kim Bo-mi, opens with an overture featuring the Project Pops Orchestra and a contemporary dance team. A gala show featuring musical numbers and pop classics will follow.

The recommended dress code is white tops. When citizens gather wearing white clothing, the lawn is expected to create a spectacular sight resembling a summer night sky. Singer Lee Juck will make a special appearance, performing songs including ‘Thank Goodness’ and ‘As I Say.’

Beginning in 2003, the Lawn Concert marks its 24th year this year. Held annually on the last Friday of August, it is the signature planned performance of the Suwon Civic Chorus. Admission is free and no advance reservation is required.
