Suwon Civic Chorus Lawn Concert 'A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along' to be Held at Suwon Outdoor Music Theater on 28th [Art S]

The Suwon Civic Chorus in Gyeonggi Province announced it will hold the ‘2026 Lawn Concert - A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along’ with citizens on the 28th at Suwon Outdoor Music Theater.

This year's performance will be organized with amateur citizen chorus group ‘We Singers’ performing on stage and singing together with the audience. The core concept is ‘Sing-Along,’ which breaks down the boundary between stage and seating area, allowing all audience members to sing along together.

The concert, conducted by artistic director Kim Bo-mi, opens with an overture featuring the Project Pops Orchestra and contemporary dance team. A gala show presenting musical numbers and pop classics will follow.

The recommended attire is white tops. When citizens gather wearing white clothing, the lawn is expected to create a spectacular view reminiscent of a summer night sky. Singer Lee Juck will make a special appearance, performing songs including 'Thank Goodness' and 'As You Say.'

Launched in 2003 and celebrating its 24th edition this year, the Lawn Concert is held on the last Friday of August every year as the signature planning performance of the Suwon Civic Chorus. Admission is free and no advance reservation is required.
