Suwon City Choir's Lawn Concert 'A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along' to be Held at Suwon Outdoor Music Hall on the 28th [Art S]

Suwon City Choir announced that it will hold the ‘2026 Lawn Concert - A Midsummer Night’s Sing-Along’ with citizens on August 28th at Suwon Outdoor Music Hall.

This year, the amateur citizen choir ‘We Singers’ will join the stage and perform in a format where audiences sing along with them. The key concept is ‘sing-along,’ which dissolves the boundary between stage and audience, with all spectators singing along together.

The concert, conducted by artistic director Kim Bo-mi, opens with an overture featuring the Project Pops Orchestra and a contemporary dance team. A gala show showcasing musical numbers and pop hits follows.

The recommended attire is white tops. As citizens gather in white clothing, the lawn is expected to take on the appearance of a summer night sky. Singer Lee Juck will make a special appearance, performing songs including ‘Thank Goodness’ and ‘As You Say.’

The lawn concert, which began in 2003 and is now in its 24th year, is held on the last Friday of August each year as the Suwon City Choir’s signature planned performance. Admission is free and no advance reservation is required.
