Suwon Local Food Direct Shop Begins Pre-orders for Chuseok Gift Sets

The Suwon Local Food Direct Shop is accepting pre-orders for 'Chuseok Holiday Gift Sets' through September 15 to coincide with the Chuseok holiday.

The Chuseok holiday gift sets are composed of Suwon agricultural products and agricultural products from sister and friendly cities, including △honey sets △Korean beef sets △fruit sets △perilla seed oil and sesame oil sets △red ginseng beverages. Bonghwa apple gift sets will be shipped directly by courier from the local area.

Reservations can be made at the Suwon Local Food Direct Shop by phone or in-person. Delivery applications will close on September 15 at 6 p.m., with shipping scheduled for September 16 onwards and will be individually announced. Payment can be made by card at the direct shop or at the delivery site, and Suwon Pay is also accepted.

In-store promotional sales will run from September 10 to 23. Customers who sign up for membership during the event period and make purchases of 40,000 won or more will receive a shopping basket as a gift.

Suwon City opened the Local Food Direct Shop on Gwanggyo Mountain-ro in Jangan-gu in November 2016, reducing distribution steps and directly connecting producers and consumers. The direct shop, which stably supplies fresh and healthy food, continues to receive steady support from residents.

A Suwon City official stated, "We have prepared both Suwon agricultural products and agricultural products from sister and friendly cities for Chuseok to expand consumers' choices," and added, "We hope this becomes a holiday where people can express their feelings through local agricultural products and provide support to farmers."
