Suwon Mayor Lee Jae-jun Purchases Chuseok Goods at Gumaetan Market

Suwon Mayor Lee Jae-jun visited Gumaetan Market on the 16th ahead of the Chuseok holiday, shopped for goods, and met with merchants and citizens at the market.

The mayor purchased food and groceries using Omni-use Gift Certificates and traveled throughout the market to speak with merchants. The items purchased on this occasion will be donated to social welfare facilities.

Suwon City is promoting "Senior Civil Servants' Traditional Market Shopping" for Chuseok. Department and bureau heads will visit their partner traditional markets from September 8th to 18th to shop and contribute to activating the use of traditional markets.

Mayor Lee Jae-jun said, "As we approach the Chuseok holiday, I hope citizens will shop at traditional markets for high-quality ancestral ritual products and holiday foods at reasonable prices."
