Hwaseong FC Secures 2-0 Victory in Away Match vs. Ansan...Continues Unbeaten Road Trip

Hwaseong FC dominated Ansan Greeners FC with a 2-0 victory, continuing their unbeaten run on the road.

On the 12th (Saturday), Hwaseong FC secured a 2-0 away victory over Ansan Greeners FC in Round 26 of the 2026 Hana Bank K League 2 at Ansan World Stadium, capitalizing on Plana's opening goal and Iliuzenko's clinching goal.

In the early stages, Hwaseong patiently built up play from the back, targeting Ansan's goal. In the 7th minute of the first half, Kim Seung-gun made a stable save on Kim In-sung's threatening mid-range shot from Ansan, getting through the crisis. Afterwards, with Kim Byung-oh at the center, Hwaseong intensified their high pressing and created attacking opportunities.

In the second half, Hwaseong made substitutions to take a gamble. In the 12th minute of the second half, Choi Ye-hoon replaced Park Kyung-min, and the incoming Choi Ye-hoon's aggressive pressing set the stage for the opening goal. As Choi Ye-hoon intercepted the opponent's pass in Ansan's territory, Plana gained possession. A handball infraction by the opposing defender was confirmed after VAR review, resulting in a penalty kick. Plana, stepping up as the kicker, calmly targeted the right side of the goal and scored the opening goal.

With a lead secured, Hwaseong made changes by bringing in Iliuzenko and Yang Si-hu. Ansan also made consecutive attacking substitutions seeking an equalizer, but Hwaseong blocked the opponent's offense with Kim Seung-gun's save and the defense's concentration.
