Uiwang City's 'Ddoc Bus' in Chopyeong Area Achieves Top Service Rating in Gyeonggi Province

Uiwang City (Mayor Kim Sung-je) announced that the demand-responsive transport (DRT) service 'Ddoc Bus' (Samyoung Transportation) introduced and operated in the Chopyeong area last year has achieved first place overall (Grade A) in the '2026 Gyeonggi Province Ddoc Bus Transportation Operator Service Evaluation' conducted on 34 transportation companies throughout Gyeonggi Province.

This evaluation was established to improve service quality and strengthen safety of the demand-responsive transport (DRT) 'Ddoc Bus' services operating within Gyeonggi Province.

The evaluation was conducted rigorously on 3 categories and 7 items: △user service enhancement (70 points) △accident management (30 points) △efforts to improve treatment of transportation workers (deduction of 10 points). Uiwang City's 'Ddoc Bus' recorded the highest total score of 99.14 points among the evaluated operators and obtained the highest Grade A, demonstrating the highest level of public transportation operational capability in the province.

Particularly, in the 'user service enhancement' category, it recorded 69.14 points out of 70, receiving the highest score among Ddoc Buses in the province. In the detailed items of this category—compliance with the Passenger Transport Act (10 points), operation management status (5 points), and transportation worker service management (15 points)—perfect scores were recorded in all major items, receiving recognition for user-centered service operations and systematic management levels.

Additionally, in the 'accident management' category, perfect scores of 30 points were recorded across all detailed items including traffic accident index, transportation worker training performance, and vehicle management without any deductions, proving a thorough safety management system.

Mayor Kim Sung-je stated, "This achievement is a valuable result obtained through close cooperation between the city and the transportation operator to provide citizens with safer and more convenient customized public transportation environment," and added, "Going forward, we will continuously expand high-quality public transportation services that Uiwang citizens can experience in their daily lives."

Meanwhile, Uiwang City's 'Ddoc Bus' has been operating two buses from June of last year in the section connecting Wongsong Lake Park and Uiwang Station, centered on Chopyeong-dong, a transportation blind spot. When users call through the mobile app 'Ddoc Ta' or the call center, the service operates according to real-time demand, becoming a reliable transportation solution for residents in the Chopyeong-dong area where public transportation was previously inconvenient.
