Anseong City Opens Stray Cat Adoption Center 'Peace Meow Meow' on 60-70 Nostalgia Street
Anseong City has opened 'Peace Meow Meow,' a stray cat adoption center promoted through the Hometown Love Donation Program, on the 18th.
'Peace Meow Meow' is a specialized stray cat adoption center that provides new protective spaces for stray cats that remain under long-term care without being adopted from animal protection centers, and helps them find new families. Anseong City has promoted the creation of separate adoption spaces that citizens can easily access to reduce the burden of long-term care for stray cats occurring annually and to revitalize adoptions.
Peace Meow Meow operates △stray cat protection, management, and adoption support △adoption counseling and promotion △awareness improvement regarding stray cats △citizen participation programs, and more. In particular, rather than simply protecting stray cats, the center plans to broaden opportunities for citizens to meet and connect with stray cats directly, supporting actual adoptions.
