Osan City Offers Free Appliance Repair Services

Osan City announced on the 26th that it will operate free mobile service and mobile consumer consultation services on March 27 and 28 at Wondong E-Pyeonhan Sesang Apartments Complex 2 and Dongbu 2nd Apartments, organized by the Housewives' Classroom (Chair Jang Chun-hwa), with participation from four companies including Samsung, LG Electronics, PN Fengnian Pressure Cooker, and Kia Auto Service Center.

This event, organized by the Osan City Chapter of the Housewives' Classroom (Chair Jang Chun-hwa), will circulate through apartment-dense areas to provide citizens with free inspections of home appliances and vehicles.

In addition, consumer consultations will be conducted to establish sound consumer culture and protect consumer rights, health, and prevent damage, as well as to prevent unfair trade practices.

A city official stated, "While citizens now have more opportunities to access diverse information through broadcast media and the internet, there have been virtually no opportunities to meet with experts face-to-face, receive customized advice, and discuss countermeasures for damages," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to organize such events frequently to fully protect the interests of citizens."
