Osan City Provides Community Jobs for 45 Residents
Osan City will recruit 45 people to provide community jobs.
The city announced on the 1st that it will invest 245.3 million won to provide jobs to 45 people over four months starting this month in five sectors including recycling, support for multicultural families, school zone children traffic safety volunteers, and youth employment projects.
On the first day of the project, the 1st, the city conducted occupational safety management and vocational awareness training for participants aimed at job retraining.
Previously, the city accepted applications last month and selected community job project participants based on criteria such as financial status and household income.
A city official said, "Through the community project, we will help provide stable livelihood support for socially vulnerable groups as well as promote safe pedestrian practices for children and resolve inconveniences for residents."
