Jangan-gu Yulcheon-dong, Kim Mi-ja Receives Filial Piety Award

Yulcheon-dong, Jangan-gu announced on the 30th of last month that Kim Mi-ja received the Filial Piety Award at the 50th Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival held on the 29th of last month.

Kim Mi-ja said, "It is only natural to serve one's parents, so I am a bit embarrassed to receive such a great award," and added, "I am truly happy to have received this meaningful award, and I will take better care of my in-laws so they can live comfortably going forward."

Kim Mi-ja, who received the Filial Piety Award, serves her in-laws who engage in farming and operates a small hardware store. She is also raising her only daughter with proper character, serving as a role model to others, which led her to receive the Filial Piety Award at the 50th Hwaseong Culture Festival.

Meanwhile, this award was presented at the 50th Suwon Hwaseong Culture Festival alongside the Hyegyeong-gung Hong Banquet event.
