Osan City "Providing Job Opportunities for Women with Career Gaps!"

Creating Jobs Through Career Reentry Special Lectures for Women with Employment Gaps

Osan City (Mayor Kwak Sang-wook) will hold a career reentry special lecture for women with employment gaps on the 18th as a measure to actively implement the government's recently announced "Employment Rate 70% Roadmap" five key tasks, supporting the concentrated capability development project for women's employment promotion titled "Women, Unleashing Your Full Potential."

The training, organized by Osan City Job Center, targets women with career gaps who wish to seek employment and consists of education on resume writing techniques as a first step in employment, interview skills to capture the interviewer's attention in the core interview process, and workplace etiquette.

This training will identify the characteristics and aptitudes of women with career gaps, analyze barriers to reemployment, suitable job types, provide guidance on part-time job opportunities, and conduct job search skills training to assist trainees.

In particular, by providing cases of women with career gaps entering society and information enabling them to conduct job searches independently, it is expected to boost employment motivation and enhance confidence, providing significant support to job seekers in finding an occupation that suits them.

Recruitment of trainees continues until the 17th. The target applicants are women residing in Osan City seeking employment. Applications can be submitted by completing an application form at the Osan City Job Center or a dong community center. The training will be held on Tuesday, the 18th, at the City Hall Mulhyanggi Room from 9 a.m. for four hours.

A city official stated, "We hope that through career reentry special lecture training for women with employment gaps, female job seekers will gain confidence and have good employment opportunities," and added, "Going forward, we will do our best to develop various programs for job seekers in Osan City to secure employment."
