Osan City "Providing Job Opportunities for Women with Career Gaps!"

Osan City (Mayor Kwak Sang-wook) will hold a special reemployment lecture for career-gap women on the 18th as a measure to actively implement the five core tasks of the government's recently announced 'Employment Rate 70% Roadmap.' The city plans to support the 'Women, Realizing Full Potential' women's employment promotion capacity concentration project.

The training, organized by the Osan City Job Center, targets career-gap women seeking employment and will consist of education on resume writing techniques, the gateway to employment; interview techniques to capture the interviewer's attention during the core interview process; and workplace etiquette.

This training will identify the characteristics and aptitudes of career-gap women, address employment barriers, analyze suitable job types for reemployment, provide guidance on part-time job projects, and conduct job search skills training to assist trainees.

In particular, by providing information on cases of career-gap women's social participation and information enabling independent job seeking, it is expected to enhance employment motivation and self-confidence, providing significant support for job seekers to find occupations suitable for them.

Recruitment of trainees will close on the 17th. Applicants must be employment-seeking women residing in Osan City. Registration can be completed by submitting an education application form at the Osan City Job Center or at a dong resident center. The training will be held on Tuesday, the 18th at the City Hall Water-scent Room from 9 a.m. for 4 hours.

A city official stated, "Through reemployment special lecture training for career-gap women, we hope to enhance female job seekers' confidence and create good employment opportunities," and added, "We will continue to do our best in developing various programs for job seekers in Osan City to achieve employment."
