Suwon City Selects Jang Mi-jeong as Courteous Civil Servant for Q1

Responding to the selection, Official Jang stated, "While the workload is considerable and burdensome, I make an effort to process civil complaints alongside friendly greetings to complainants," and added, "It seems that complainants viewed favorably my efforts to provide them with trust and confidence."
Suwon City conducted an online voting through e-Suwon News (news.suwon.ne.kr) until the 21st of last month for four nominated candidates recommended through "Green Cards," where citizens introduce courteous civil servants, and selected Official Jang as the Courtesy King for the first quarter of 2014.
Jang Mi-jeong, the selected Courtesy King official, was assigned to the Gwonseon 2-dong Residents Center in Gwonseon District in June 2013 and is in charge of resident registration tasks including personal seals, birth, and death documentation.
The city plans to present the Courtesy King award at the "April Meeting" along with providing incentive points for personnel evaluation.
