Gyeonggi Province Provides Education to Multicultural Families on Preventing Deceptive Business Practices
Gyeonggi Province will conduct 'On-Site Consumer Life Education' starting on the 21st at multicultural family support centers throughout the province in cooperation with the Consumer Organization Council.
The province first held education sessions on the 21st in Hwaseong for multicultural family housewives, covering topics including types of deceptive and fraudulent business practices, case examples of damages, consumer rights, and relevant regulations such as consumer dispute resolution standards.
Lee Joo-hong, Director of the Consumer Organization Council, delivered a lecture on the theme "We Are Smart Republic of Korea Consumers," and on-site counseling was also provided.
The next education session will be held on the 22nd at the Uiwang Multicultural Family Support Center, with additional sessions scheduled in Gwangju and Osan during September.
