Gwangmyeong City to Offer Free Issuance of 123 Types of Administrative Documents at Unmanned Service Kiosks Starting from the 8th

Gwangmyeong City (Mayor Park Seung-won) announced on the 6th that from the 8th, residents can obtain 123 types of administrative documents free of charge at unmanned service kiosks.
Previously, 89 types of documents including resident registration certificates and family relationship certificates could be issued for free, but 34 types of documents related to land, construction, and local taxes required fees.
According to the city, it will waive the fees for the 34 types of documents that were previously charged to reduce the financial burden on residents and improve the convenience of administrative services.
The fee waiver applies to 40 unmanned service kiosks within Gwangmyeong City. Fees must be paid if documents are issued directly at the City Hall or district Administrative Welfare Centers service counters.
Register of real estate (registry certificates) under the jurisdiction of the court are excluded from the free issuance program and fees must be paid even when issued at unmanned service kiosks.
Gwangmyeong Mayor Park Seung-won stated, "We will carefully address inconveniences so that citizens can use administrative services more conveniently in their daily lives. Going forward, we will continuously expand administrative services that citizens can directly benefit from," he added.
Information on the locations and operating hours of unmanned service kiosks and available documents can be found on the Gwangmyeong City website (gm.go.kr).
