Gwangmyeong Mayor Park Seung-won Meets with 400 Residents at Cheolsan Apartment Complex for 'Asohaa'

Gwangmyeong City held 'A Very Precious Day of Meetings (hereinafter Asohaa)' on the 31st at Cheolsan J-Heritage Apartment, directly visiting residents' living spaces with approximately 400 residents.
'Asohaa' is Gwangmyeong City's on-site communication policy where the mayor and administration directly visit citizens who find it difficult to participate in city governance to listen to their concerns. Mayor Park Seung-won of Gwangmyeong visited the site in person.
On that day, residents presented opinions for improving living environments, including expanding children's sports facilities, expediting property ownership transfer registration, improving pedestrian paths, and strengthening noise enforcement for motorcycles.
In response, Mayor Park said, "We plan to construct a basketball court near Chanbit Gwangmyeong Plaza on Anyang Stream by the end of the year," and added, "Going forward, we will review expanding public sports facilities so citizens can enjoy diverse sports activities."
Regarding requests to expedite the property ownership transfer registration process for residential complexes, Mayor Park said, "The property ownership transfer registration process requires completion of infrastructure construction and relevant procedures such as land contributions," and "We will actively consult with the project implementer to ensure subsequent procedures proceed swiftly."
Regarding requests for improved nighttime lighting on pedestrian paths between the apartment and Anyang Stream and repairs to deteriorated paving blocks, Mayor Park responded that after on-site inspection, the city plans to proceed with replacing aging lighting fixtures and repairing damaged sections.
Regarding motorcycle noise issues during late night and early morning hours, the city will continue joint enforcement actions with relevant agencies and review the introduction of noise enforcement cameras to resolve resident inconveniences.
