Yongin Baekhyeon Middle School Holds Autumn Busking

Yongin Baekhyeon Middle School (Principal Yoon Sung-hun) announced on the 29th that it will hold an autumn busking event that fosters student-centered music culture at the school based on students' autonomous music activities and artistic participation.

The event is a performance organized by the Student Autonomous Council, where students play instruments directly and enjoy performances during lunch hour. The school explained that it is continuing spring, summer, autumn, and winter busking performances this year, allowing students to enjoy a diverse range of music genres together.

Since 2022, Yongin Baekhyeon Middle School has established the foundation for students' music activities by recruiting members for music clubs. In the same year, "Online Arts Empathy Hub at Yongin Baekhyeon Middle School" was introduced through Gyeonggi Province Office of Education TV, raising awareness of students' music and arts activities beyond the school.

Subsequently, in 2025, the school has continued student club culture through the ongoing activities of the band club and samulnori ensemble on the school's club activities bulletin board.

Going forward, the school plans to expand the student-centered busking culture into music activities involving the entire educational community through classical performances with parent participation and surprise events with teacher participation, the school announced.
