Hwaseong Dongtan Central Library in Hwaseong Special City will hold a special exhibition titled 'WORLD'S UNBOUND: Exhibition of World Literature Award-Winning Works' in the Lacibibium on the 3rd floor through November 8, introducing major world literary awards and award-winning works.

The exhibition introduces major international literary awards including the Booker Prize and Prix Goncourt, as well as the Hugo Award and Nebula Award in science fiction and fantasy, along with award-winning authors and works. Award-winning books are also displayed together so that visitors can examine various works in person.

This exhibition was prepared to illuminate the world of literature that has been conveyed to readers across languages, cultures, eras, and genres. By introducing globally acclaimed authors and works, it provides citizens with an opportunity to discover new books and stories.

Yoon Mi-young, head of the Library Policy Division, said, "I hope this exhibition becomes an opportunity for citizens to discover new authors and works and appreciate the diverse appeal of books. We will continue to develop the library as a place where citizens can experience various cultural contents including books and exhibitions together."

Following this exhibition, Hwaseong Dongtan Central Library plans to present various participatory exhibitions with citizens.
