Twenty youth from Gyeonggi Province cycled a total of 154km on the Pyeonghwa Nuri Bicycle Path from Gimpo to Paju over four days.
The Gyeonggi Province Future Generation Foundation operated the 'Hanaros Jongju-dan' with Gyeonggi Province youth on the Pyeonghwa Nuri Bicycle Path in northern Gyeonggi Province from the 5th to the 8th for three nights and four days.
The 'Hanaros Jongju-dan' cycled through different sections and visited Imjingak, the Ramsar-designated Goyang Janghangsangsup Wetland Ecology Center, and Camp Greaves, experiencing the peace, history, and ecological resources of northern Gyeonggi Province while learning the values of challenge and cooperation.
Kim Hyun-sam, representative director of the Gyeonggi Province Future Generation Foundation, said, "It was a meaningful time for youth to directly ride bicycles on the Pyeonghwa Nuri Bicycle Path and experience the peace, history, and ecology of northern Gyeonggi Province firsthand." He added, "We will continue to provide various activities so that youth can take on new challenges and grow through processes of mutual cooperation."
