Suwon City Policy Research Institute Holds Research Advisory Committee Meeting

[Suwon Ilbo = Reporter Seo Dong-young] The Suwon City Policy Research Institute (Director Choi Byung-dae) held a "Research Advisory Committee Member Appointment Ceremony and First Meeting" on the 26th at the Deoham Park Conference Room.

During the Research Advisory Committee meeting, an appointment certificate presentation ceremony for 17 newly appointed research advisory committee members was followed by a session for deliberation on the Suwon City Policy Research Institute's 2020 planned research projects and reception of advisory opinions.

Subsequently, Lee Se-gu, Director of Research Planning at the Suwon City Policy Research Institute, presented a proactive research approach in the institute's current status and "SRI PLAN 2020" presentation, and explained the direction of 2020 research projects through establishment of an integrative research system and strengthening of collaborative networks.

Additionally, a presentation of four planned research initiatives and a time for research advisory committee members to listen to opinions were held, during which sessions for proposing long-term master plans and access methods for more pleasant and convenient urban environments and spaces for Suwon citizens took place.

Director Choi Byung-dae said, "If research advisory committee members provide their wisdom for research for Suwon City and its citizens, I will work even harder to make it research for a better Suwon."
