Suwon City Policy Research Institute Holds Research Advisory Committee Meeting

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] The Suwon City Policy Research Institute (Director Choi Byung-dae) held an "appointment ceremony and first meeting of the Research Advisory Committee" on the 26th at the conference room in Daehampak Park.

At the Research Advisory Committee meeting, an appointment certificate presentation ceremony was held for 17 newly appointed research advisors, followed by a session for deliberation on the institute's 2020 planned research projects and consultation on expert opinions.

Subsequently, Lee Se-gu, Director of Research Planning at the Suwon City Policy Research Institute, presented the institute's current status and unveiled the institute's proactive research direction in the "SRI PLAN 2020" presentation, and explained the direction of 2020 research projects through the establishment of an integrated research system and strengthening of cooperative networks.

Additionally, a time for presentations of four major planned research projects and listening to the opinions of research advisors was held, providing opportunities to propose long-term master plans and approaches toward creating a more comfortable and convenient urban environment and spaces for Suwon citizens.

Director Choi Byung-dae said, "If the research advisors contribute their wisdom to research for Suwon City and Suwon citizens, we will make greater efforts so that the research becomes even better for a greater Suwon."
