[Suwon Ilbo = Reporter Seo Dong-young] Paldal-gu District Chief Kwon Chan-ho visited on-site reception centers for the emergency livelihood support project for crisis households affected by COVID-19 on the 19th to check the overall situation and listen to opinions and suggestions.
District Chief Kwon Chan-ho urged, "Please ensure that the second round of emergency livelihood support for crisis households proceeds without delay," and stated, "I hope this will help stabilize the lives of residents experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19 and revitalize the local economy."
Starting from the 12th, the district has been accepting online applications for emergency livelihood support for crisis households affected by COVID-19 through the Bokjiro website (http://www.bokjiro.go.kr). On-site reception began on the 19th at the Administrative Welfare Centers in each dong.
Support is available to those whose income has decreased by 25% or more, falls below 75% of the median income standard, and whose property income is 350 million won or less due to COVID-19-related job loss, business closure, or salary reduction.
For in-person applications, the head of household, household members within the same generation, or a proxy (legal representative, etc.) should visit the Administrative Welfare Center in their residential area on designated days according to the last digit of the head of household's birth year, bring a valid ID, complete the application form and personal information consent form, and submit income reduction proof documents.
Support amounts vary by household size: single-person households receive 400,000 won, two-person households 600,000 won, three-person households 800,000 won, and households of four or more people receive 1 million won. After conducting a comprehensive investigation of eligibility and selection criteria, eligible recipients will receive funds deposited into their designated accounts in December.
