Suwon City Council Speaker Jo Seok-hwan Visits Medical Institutions and Social Welfare Facilities

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Suwon City Council Speaker Jo Seok-hwan visited medical institutions and social welfare facilities on the 5th ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, accompanied by Yang Jin-ha, Chairman of the Planning and Economy Committee, Lee Hyun-gu, Chairman of the Urban Environment Committee, and Lee Mi-gyeong, Chairman of the Welfare and Safety Committee, to encourage those working there.

Speaker Jo visited two screening clinics at Ajou University Hospital and Dong-Suwon Hospital, as well as two social welfare facilities including Queen of Peace Welfare Center and Star of the Sea, presenting consolation gifts.

He also extended his gratitude to medical staff who are directly confronting COVID-19 while protecting citizens' health and social welfare workers who continue to perform good deeds despite difficult circumstances.

Speaker Jo said, "Although difficult circumstances persist, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, the Suwon City Council will pay close attention to every corner of citizens' lives and do our best to ensure COVID-19 comes to an end as soon as possible, so that no one is left behind."

Meanwhile, the Suwon City Council continues to visit and encourage relevant agencies and social welfare facilities within the city every holiday to support efforts on behalf of citizens.
