Suwon Special City Recruits Participating Companies for 'SMATEC 2026' Joint Pavilion

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) is recruiting companies to participate in the 'SMATEC 2026' Suwon City joint pavilion from the 16th through October 2nd.

SMATEC is a specialized exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and products in the smart manufacturing field, including manufacturing automation, robotics, industrial AI and autonomous manufacturing, software, smart logistics, and safety equipment. This year's 'Eighth International Smart Manufacturing and AI Technology Exhibition' will be held at Suwon Convention Center from November 18-20.

The recruitment targets are manufacturing AI or smart manufacturing-related companies with headquarters, research institutes, or factories registered in Suwon City as of the announcement date. Companies that have ceased or suspended business operations as of the application deadline are not eligible to apply.

Suwon City will operate a joint pavilion with a total of 10 pavilions, including 2 policy pavilions and 8 company pavilions. Selected companies will receive 2 pavilions of 3m × 3m each per company, as well as basic facilities including company name signboards, electrical lighting, information desks, chairs, and outlets.

Participating companies will be selected in order of highest scores based on evaluation of ▲sales and number of employees ▲technological competitiveness ▲operation of promotional channels ▲experience participating in exhibitions. Companies wishing to participate should apply by October 2 at 6 PM by visiting the Saebbit Civil Affairs Center on the first floor of the Suwon City Hall main building or by email (maple92@korea.kr).

At last year's 'SMATEC 2025,' 129 domestic and international companies participated, operating 304 pavilions. The exhibition was visited by approximately 17,400 visitors.

A Suwon City official stated, "We hope this exhibition will be an opportunity for companies in the city to understand the latest trends in manufacturing AI and smart manufacturing technology and expand networks among enterprises," and added, "We will support them to secure new growth engines based on technological exchange."
