Suwon Metropolitan City Recruits Participating Companies for 'SMATEC 2026' Joint Booth
Suwon Metropolitan City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) is recruiting companies to participate in the Suwon City joint booth for 'SMATEC 2026' from the 16th through October 2nd.
SMATEC is a specialized exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and products in the smart manufacturing field, including manufacturing automation, robotics, industrial AI, autonomous manufacturing, software, smart logistics, and safety equipment. This year's '8th International Smart Manufacturing and AI Technology Exhibition' will be held at the Suwon Convention Center from November 18 to 20.
The recruitment targets are manufacturing AI or smart manufacturing-related companies with headquarters, research institutes, or factories registered in Suwon as of the announcement date. Companies in business suspension or closure as of the deadline cannot apply.
Suwon City will operate the joint booth with a total of 10 booths, including 2 policy booths and 8 company booths. Selected companies will be provided with 2 booths each measuring 3m×3m per company, along with basic facilities including company signboards, electrical lighting, information desks, chairs, and outlets.
Participating companies will be selected in order of highest scores based on evaluation of ▲sales and number of employees ▲technological competitiveness ▲operation of promotional channels ▲exhibition participation experience. Companies wishing to participate can apply by visiting the Saebit Civil Affairs Center on the 1st floor of the Suwon City Hall main building by 6 p.m. on October 2 or by email (maple92@korea.kr).
At 'SMATEC 2025' held last year, 129 domestic and overseas companies participated and operated 304 booths. The exhibition was visited by approximately 17,400 people.
An official from Suwon City said, "We hope this exhibition will be an opportunity for companies in the city to understand the latest trends in manufacturing AI and smart manufacturing technology and expand networks between businesses," and added, "We will provide support to secure new growth engines based on technological exchange."
