Suwon City Announces Mid-Year 2016 Personnel Promotion for 106 Officials

Suwon City announced on the 16th the list of 106 officials eligible for promotion in the regular mid-year 2016 personnel reshuffle.

The city stated that it carried out the promotion personnel reshuffle based on vacancies resulting from voluntary retirements, organizational restructuring, merit-based training, long-term education, honorary retirement, and leaves of absence.

The highly anticipated Grade 3 promotions were decided as follows: Sang-yun Lee, District Chief of Jangan-gu, Heung-sik Park, District Chief of Paldal-gu, and Joo-ho Kim, District Chief of Yeongtong-gu.

For Grade 4 promotions, Chang-beom Kim, Director of Social Welfare Division, Sang-hun Lee, Director of Administrative Support Division, and Tae-ho Shin, Director of Roads Division (Technical Secretary), were selected for promotion.

Additionally, 23 candidates for Grade 5 promotion training will be selected, followed by promotions of 20 Grade 6 officials, 39 Grade 7 officials, and 18 Grade 8 officials. Personnel promotions at district offices (47 officials: 10 Grade 7, 37 Grade 8) will also be carried out simultaneously.

Following these promotions, personnel transfers will be conducted: for Grade 4 and above division, bureau, and office directors on or before the 19th, and for Grade 5 and below personnel on or around the 24th.
