Dongducheon City Holds Landscape Committee Meeting for "Noljasuup Forest Development Project"

Dongducheon City (Mayor Oh Se-chang) held the second landscape committee meeting of 2017 on June 1 (Thursday) at the Dongducheon City Hall situation room with the participation of landscape field experts, and reviewed the landscape plan for the building (Noljasuup Center) to be constructed within the Noljasuup Forest Development Project.

The landscape committee is implemented in accordance with the "Dongducheon City Landscape Ordinance" for buildings with a total floor area of 1,000㎡ or more constructed by local governments, with Noljasuup Center, the building to be constructed within Noljasuup Forest, being the subject.

Noljasuup Center is an eco-friendly complex play space with a total floor area of 2,930㎡, featuring distinctive indoor family play facilities that can be used all four seasons (clip and climb, indoor net adventure and eco-adventure, indoor slide, etc.). In this landscape committee meeting, the review focused on ▲layout and exterior design ▲building materials ▲color plan ▲harmony with surrounding plans of Noljasuup Center.

In this landscape committee meeting, various opinions were presented including facility guidance and sign facility expansion, securing adequate parking spaces and convenience improvements, resolving the sense of disconnection between buildings and external spaces, developing night landscape programs based on night landscape facility construction, and creating outdoor restrooms for user convenience, and the meeting resulted in conditional approval.

Dongducheon City will carefully review and reflect the content presented in this landscape committee meeting, making every effort to ensure that the "Noljasuup Forest Development Project" is developed as a landscape-excellent facility with unique characteristics of Noljasuup Forest.
