Pocheon City Selected as Excellent in '2017 Gyeonggi Province Spring Road Maintenance Evaluation'

Pocheon City (Mayor Kim Jong-cheon) announced on the 27th that it has been selected as an excellent local government in Gyeonggi Province's Spring Road Maintenance Evaluation.

The Road Maintenance Evaluation is an annual assessment conducted by Gyeonggi Province covering overall road management to maintain road functionality and prevent traffic accidents. It is a highly meaningful evaluation directly connected to citizens' daily lives, including convenience in road use.

The city achieved excellent results through the operation of a comprehensive observation system with all staff participation, rapid recovery of road facilities through annual unit price contracts for road maintenance and repair, and environmental improvement projects on National Route 43.

Oh Se-ik, head of the Construction Division, stated, "We place significance on this achievement resulting from cooperation among multiple departments, and we will do our best to achieve good results in the Fall Road Maintenance Evaluation so that additional budgets for road maintenance management can be secured."
