Ethiopian Delegation Visits Yeongtong-gu Office in Suwon

[Suwon Ilbo=Kang Han-seo, Reporter] A delegation of senior Ethiopian officials visited Yeongtong-gu Office in Suwon (District Chief Song Young-wan) on the 5th to tour South Korea's Land Information System (KLIS) and Yeongtong-gu Office's smart land information public services.

The delegation that visited that day consisted of 15 officials from land-related institutions (National Geographic Information Institute, Land Registration Authority, etc.), including a vice minister of the Ethiopian Ministry of Urban Development and Construction.

The delegation's visit to Yeongtong-gu Office was made at the request of the Korea Land Information Corporation (LX), which annually conducts training sessions for senior officials from developing countries.

The delegation showed great interest in the management methods of land records in the land record vault, the computerization process to date, the operation methods of the computerized system, and a demonstration of the unmanned issuance machine.
