Uiwang City Community Welfare Consultative Body Holds 'Community Welfare Promotion Seminar'

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Hong Seong-gil] The Uiwang City Community Welfare Consultative Body held the '2019 Community Welfare Promotion Seminar' on the 10th at Mabellie Buffet in Pyeongchon, with approximately 140 attendees including members of the city and ward-level community welfare consultative bodies and local social welfare officials.

The seminar was organized to strengthen the capacity of the community welfare consultative body members and provide an opportunity for communication and exchange among members.

The seminar featured lectures on community-integrated care (community care) and building a healthy body, followed by a dinner where participants shared fellowship and communication with one another.

Additionally, the event included a session to enhance the capacity of consultative body members through various discussions on the future direction of Uiwang City's community welfare development.

Uiwang City Mayor Kim Sang-don, who attended the event, said, "I hope this seminar will be an opportunity to strengthen the solidarity of community welfare consultative body officials and enhance welfare capacity," and added, "The city will also do its best to advance local social welfare and community care."
