Uiwang City Holds October 12 'Walking Around Wanggok Stream Walking Day for Two-Legged Commute'

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Uiwang City will hold the "Walking Around Wanggok Stream October Two-Legged Commute Day" at 10 a.m. on October 12 at Gocheon Sports Park to commemorate the city's 30th anniversary of city status.

The event, organized by Uiwang Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Kim Ho-young), will feature various programs including nantap drum performances by the Women's University, traditional farmers' band performances by the agricultural cooperative, and lawn dart competitions.

After the event, a walking event will depart from Gocheon Sports Park, passing through Wanggok Stream, Wangrim Stream, and the entrance to Baegun Mountain before returning to Gocheon Sports Park. Environmental cleanup activities will also be held in conjunction with the event.
