Ichuncheak Hospital Donates Bazaar Proceeds to Paldal-gu Health Center

[Suwon Ilbo= Reporter Park No-hun] Ichuncheak Hospital in Suwon (Hospital Director Yoon Sung-hwan) delivered the full proceeds of 3.5 million won from the Hope Sharing Bazaar held on the 14th as donations for neighbors in need in the local community to the Paldal-gu Health Center in Suwon.

The Hope Sharing Bazaar held on the 27th of last month, which started for the first time in 2016, marks its fourth edition this year and has become one of the representative events of Ichuncheak Hospital.

At this bazaar, a variety of items were prepared including freshly cooked food such as tteokbokki, sundae, and dak-gangjeong, as well as clothing and various daily necessities collected through employee donations, and handmade fruit juice and natural soaps. The event was evaluated as more meaningful as hospital employees, patients, and local residents came together in harmony.

Ichuncheak Hospital is conducting various volunteer activities under the mission of "People Who Give Hope." Under the auspices of the Social Volunteer Team of the Partner Assistance Committee, a self-governing organization, it regularly visits and cares for elderly living alone, youth heads of households, and sponsored organizations (Dream Growing House, Ebenezer).

Ku Hyung-mo, chairman of the Partner Assistance Committee, said, "It was truly a rewarding time to share warmth with our neighbors through the Hope Sharing Bazaar" and expressed his gratitude, saying, "I appreciate the employees who pooled their efforts with one heart and purpose to practice sustainable sharing rather than a one-time event."
