Youngtong-gu Conducts Second-Half Sanitation Inspections at Group Dining Facilities

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Youngtong-gu in Suwon (District Chief Song Young-wan) will conduct second-half sanitation inspections from the 21st to 25th at group dining facilities where mass food poisoning is a concern.

The inspection targets total 33 facilities: 13 establishments that received the lowest sanitation rating during the first-half inspection and 20 facilities that were not inspected in the first half.

Key inspection items include ▲improvements at first-half sanitation-deficient establishments ▲environmental management including facilities ▲personal hygiene compliance ▲appropriate process management ▲other violations of the Food Sanitation Act ▲country-of-origin labeling, among others. Cooking utensils such as cutting boards and knives will also be measured on-site using portable ATP bacteria detection devices.
